In honor of those who have died in the line of duty
Officers John Burke, Jerome Fowler & Geoffrey Cole
completed their ride in the Police Unity Tour on May 9th through May 12th. They
cycled from New Jersey to Washington D.C. to keep the memories of
our fallen heroes alive and remember those left behind.
A total of 1100 other officers from around the world
participated to remember and to honor those who gave all.
Through the support of the Bogota/Ridgefield Park Community the
Police Unity Tour Team
of the
Bogota & Ridgefield Park Police Departments
were able to raise over $17,500. The entire Police Unity Tour Organization presented a check in the amount of a little more than $1.3 million to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Foundation which will help to keep the memories of our departed heroes alive
& also letting their families know that their loved one will NEVER BE FORGOTTEN!
